Sophia Saldaña

CSULB Undergraduate Student 

Sophia Saldaña is an undergraduate research assistant in the Department of Psychology. She is a UROP (Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program) Scholar and a UROP peer advisor working in the Office of Undergraduate Research Services at CSULB. Currently, she is examining the effects of parental stress on infant developmental outcomes. She has presented her research at various research conferences such as CSULB’s Student Research Competition, of which she placed first in the Behavioral and Social Sciences Category.

Research interests: child and adolescent development, marriage and family therapy, maternal and fetal health
