Jue Lin, Ph.D.

Dr. Jue Lin is a Research Biochemist in the Department of Biochemistry & Biophysics and is the director of the Telomere Biology Core Lab at UCSF. Her research investigates telomere maintenance in health and disease, using in vitro and ex vivo cell culture models, animal models, as well as clinical studies. (Research Website)

Dr. Lin and the PRO-Health Research Program are collaborating on a new NIH and NSF-funded study called the Rooting for Better Health / Fortaleciendo Nuestras Raíces Project, which is examining the role of salivary genetic markers and parental chronic stress during pregnancy on infant risk for adverse health and developmental outcomes.
